On Friday 20th September we held a special leadership day as part of our Plymouth CAST 10 year anniversary celebrations. Around 75 colleagues from across Plymouth CAST attended the event which was held at Future Inns Plymouth.
The day began with a beautiful Mass celebrated by Canon Mark from the Diocese of Plymouth, bringing our Plymouth CAST family together in unity and faith. With music provided by a group of our musically gifted Headteachers.
Following Mass each school was presented with a special candle and a prayer book. The prayer book follows the Liturgical year and contains a prayer written by the children from each of our 34 schools and our nursery.
We were also privileged to welcome key note speaker Richard Gerver who inspired us with his insights into education and leadership.
During the afternoon our School Improvement Team supported by Headteachers ran some really engaging workshops, fostering a sense of collaboration and new ideas for the continued success of our Plymouth CAST family.
It was a day filled with inspiration, learning and shared purpose as we continue our journey together.
